“When I first found out CET were hiring, it was for a role within the Network Team. As I have previous experience in giving technical advice to boiler engineers, this job sounded like something I would be a good fit for.

“My application was a success and went through to the interview stage, which was incredibly encouraging. Later, I had found out that the CEO of CET had read my CV and thought I would be a great match for a new role created specifically with me and my skills in mind- Technical Advisor within the Operations Support Team.

tim brown“I was amazed! The CEO had read my CV, recognised my talent, and was willing to create a place on the team just for me! Never have I been so keen to accept a job offer. Right from the get-go, CET was a place I could really see myself developing my professional career.

“Since I first joined the Operational Support Team a year ago, I have had such a brilliant career journey. My main responsibility within my role as Technical Advisor is to evaluate any Home Emergency claims where the engineer has deemed the boiler to be beyond economic repair (BER) and assess if this is the case of if there is something we could do to get a customer’s boiler up and running again, under their Home Emergency cover.

“Watching CET grow and evolve over the last 12 months, going from strength to strength, has been fantastic. There have been many positive changes to management within my team, which has immensely helped to improve a variety of processes, allowing for a smoother and more refined customer journey.

“It is refreshing that there are both male and female voices contributing to the success of the Operations Support Team, and I could not be any prouder of all the hard work and dedication everyone shows on a daily basis.”
