After a successful first year of our partnership with MacMillan Cancer Support we refuse to take our foot off the accelerator. At last month’s awards ceremony, we raised an impressive £1,310 from the guests and nominees. We have also just completed a marathon walk across all sites.
Now, five members of the team from finance, IT and Home Emergency will be running this year’s “Ramathon”, a half-marathon in Derby.
The runners:
Ramathon is a 13.1 mile race, which starts and finishes at Pride Park Stadium in Derby.
The Ramathon, which takes place on Sunday 4th June, is another chance for us to raise money for a worthy cause. If you would like to donate we have set-up a justgiving page which you can access here. Additionally, if you are free and would like to go down to the Ramathon and offer your support it would be much appreciated.
There are currently 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. This is set to rise to 4 million by 2030. Macmillan is there for anyone affected by cancer – last year over 5.8 million people received medical, financial, emotional and practical support.

Thanks to all of your support, we were able to raise an incredible £1776.60 for a worthy cause.
