CET gives a thousand reasons to be cheerful at Christmas

CET is proud to have supported a nationwide campaign aiming to deliver toys to over 12,000 vulnerable children this festive period.

The property assurance specialists donated £1000 as partner organisation LV= joined Family Action’s charity appeal to provide much-needed gifts to low-income families.

Chris McLain, CET Chief Executive Officer, said: “This year has been particularly challenging  for families right across the UK and we are delighted to support such a fantastic cause as Family Action.

“Last Christmas, Family Action delivered more than 8,000 toys to the most vulnerable and, after Covid-19 impacted upon those most in need of support, we are proud to have been able to assist the campaign to deliver a further 12,000 toys in 2020.”

Since 1869, Family Action has helped to transform lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the country.

Today, Family Action works with over 60,000 families through over 160 community-based services, with thousands more supported through education and welfare grants programmes.
