CET Celebrates Accreditation Success

Every six months, CET are audited by The Lloyd’s Register who verify our progress and commitment to keeping our ISO 27001 accreditation, by making sure we are on track with our Information and Security Management systems.

ISO 27001 is a widely recognised, UKAS accredited, certification in Information Security Management. This ensures we are constantly prioritising the security of our systems such as how we process the data of Our People, Colleagues, and Customers alike as well as where we store this data and how long we keep it for.

This accreditation is something that we take very seriously. A committee, chaired by Scott Hughes, CET IT Manager, meets every month to discuss our cyber-security and reviews any potential issues, always learning from events and improving systems.

A recent development was our investment in DarkTrace, an next-gen email and network security solution, detects malicious emails and network activity which try to target and harvest data such as addresses and bank details.

The customer is at the heart of everything we do, and by securing the ISO 27001 certification, shows our commitment and dedication to being a company that Our Customers can rely on and trust.
