CET Partners with MacMillan Cancer Support

Giving Our All for MacMillan Cancer Support

CET has embarked on a two year partnership agreement with MacMillan Cancer Support, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for this very worthwhile charitable organisation.

Janet Fairhurst, CET HR Advisor,  commented “This is an exciting opportunity for CET. We are looking forward to making an important contribution in assisting MacMillan as they carry out their excellent work with cancer sufferers and their friends and families."

By 2030 up to 4 million people in the UK are expected to be affected by cancer, either directly or through a family member or friend. It is crucial that MacMillan are funded properly; enabling them to continue to provide vital support during the most worrying and distressing times. CET is delighted to be able to support MacMillan and recognise their contribution to making our society a better place to live.

Over the next two years, CET will be embarking on a series of structured fundraising activities that will involve as many employees as possible, embracing our motto “Giving Our All”.

Jo-Anne Wilson, MacMillian Cancer Support Fundraising Manager, was delighted to confirm the agreement: “It is a pleasure to work with a company like CET who are so committed to supporting Macmillan in our ambition that no-one should face cancer alone. With over 900 people in the UK being diagnosed with this illness every day, the support of CET means so much to us. Not only around fundraising, but raising awareness of the support that Macmillan can provide to families when they need it the most.  We are looking forward to the next two years with CET”
