CET Group announces split of Infrastructure and Property Assurance businesses

Established in 1988, CET began as a materials testing house and quality assurance service for the Construction industry. Since then, we’ve grown exponentially through organic expansion and acquisition. Through the natural connection between materials testing and subsidence investigation, we then grew our Property Assurance division, serving as an outsourcing partner for some of the biggest and best-known insurers in the UK.

In the last two years, we’ve more than doubled in size and seen two distinct divisions flourish into successful businesses. Our Infrastructure division now includes the CET Infrastructure and Construction Testing Solutions brands, as well as an in-house metrology calibration and repairs service; Calibration Testing Solutions (formerly CET Calibration). CET Property Assurance looks after the Home Emergency policies for 1 in 4 UK properties, delivering a service on behalf of household names.

CET recognises the need to officially split these businesses in order to accommodate further growth, as well as any acquisitions for either side of the business that may occur as we move towards our goal.

Therefore, from 1st July 2019, the CET Group will operate under the following structure:

Changes to our Digital structure

To reflect our new structure, we are also creating a bespoke digital presence for each of our brands.

While the CET Group will continue to use the existing platforms, incorporating our Property Assurance brand.

CET Infrastructure will have its own bespoke website, as well as social media presence, in order for us to give CET Infrastructure customers a better digital experience.

Construction Testing Solutions will continue to be supported by its current websites and social media presence, with dedicated pages and posts for Calibration Testing Solutions.
