In operation since 2008, the East Kilbride laboratory is a stalwart of the CET group. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow, the site has been a centre of excellence for many years; delivering our industry-leading geotechnical and materials testing services to a broad range of clients across Scotland and the far North of England.
The East Kilbride lab recently extended its UKAS accreditation to include the resistance of fragmentation of coarse aggregate testing, otherwise known as the Los Angeles method, and Magnesium Sulphate Soundness Testing.
“This is a key differentiator for the East Kilbride team and adds to the breadth of knowledge and expertise we already have within CET” said Gary Corrigan, MD of CET Infrastructure “It’s important for us to offer the broadest possible range of services to all our customers in the regions. The UKAS accreditation also provides customers with a guaranteed quality of service and demonstrates our continued commitment to delivering an industry-leading service.”
A cornerstone of CET’s operations, UKAS accreditation underpins CET’s commitment to quality and safety in the workplace. Third party assessment and validation of our services provides our customers with the assurance that all works are carried out to a recognised national standard.
