CET Group announces restructure of Materials Testing sites

Peter Eglinton, CEO of the CET Group, announces the consolidation of the Materials Testing sites within the Group:

“CET acquired Construction Testing Solutions (CTS) just over three years ago and this year we also acquired Enverity.

“As the leading provider of material testing services, operating from ten sites across the UK with 185 technicians, we are never far from our customers.

“It is important to us that as we grow, we retain the focus on delivering a trusted and reliable service that also provides great local coverage for our customers. To continue to do so, we have chosen to consolidate the business into three regions.

“The North region, which operates as CTS, comprises of our East Kilbride, Warrington and Doncaster sites. The Midlands, which is also now operated by CTS, includes our Chesterfield, Newark, Wolvey and Daventry sites.

“The South comprises of Heathrow, Billericay and Harrietsham and is operated by CET Infrastructure.

“Kev Tonge, MD of CTS, leads the North and the Midlands, where he is supported by General Manager Paul Taylor. Gary Corrigan, MD of CET Infrastructure, leads the South, supported by Southern Operations Director Russell Barnes.

“Across the business we have teams focusing on Earthworks Stabilisation, Soil and Concrete testing, Aggregate and Blacktop testing, as well as Structural Investigations.

“We have also invested significantly in our technology and process, allowing us to deliver a premium 5-day turnaround service throughout the year for customers who require a faster turnaround on their results.

“All contact points for our customers will remain the same and we look forward to continuing to grow with our customers moving forwards.”
