CET’s Vimal Patel sets global world record in marketing exam performance
CET announces that its in-house data scientist, Vimal Patel, has achieved the highest exam performance worldwide in the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Professional Postgraduate Diploma exams.
Based in Castle Donington and with facilities throughout the UK, CET is the leading provider of specialist services to the insurance and construction sectors. The business was backed by UK private equity firm Dunedin in 2005.
Having joined CET in February 2017 as Marketing and Business Performance Manager and responsible for driving commercial and operational performance throughout the company, Vimal has supported CET to continue on its track of strong continuous growth, in a year which has seen it grow revenues by 30%.
Commenting on his achievement, Vimal said “I took the qualification to formalise my professional career to date, which has focussed on using data-driven intelligence to create and deliver valuable customer experiences. I feel absolutely ecstatic to have received this prestigious CIM award and recognition, on top of the already valuable Masters-level qualification.”
Part of his remit involves data analysis gathered from CET’s two custom-developed apps. SIMPLIFi, an integrated, intelligent and innovative home emergency app, is used by CET’s home emergency technicians nationwide, offering a data collection platform which tracks projects from claim to resolution. CETi, an intelligent analytics and testing database, enables easy data logging, comprehensive results analysis and rapid reporting for projects requiring materials testing during the construction phase. Thanks to Vimal’s input and expertise, the scope of both apps is currently being extended to further enhance the customer experience.
