CET Infrastructure Appoints New Laboratory Manager

CET would like to congratulate Chris Davidson on his appointment as the new Laboratory Manager at our Harrietsham facility. Chris is no stranger to the lab, having joined CET Infrastructure in 2010 as a Trainee Laboratory Technician.

Thanks to his commitment and hard work over the years Chris developed to become a Principal Technician, before taking on his previous role as Laboratory Supervisor. He assumes his new duties in April 2018 and is looking forward to playing a key role in the future development of our flagship testing facility.

In his eight-year tenure at CET Infrastructure, Chris has become a trusted advisor to clients and new employees alike; always willing to share his knowledge and experience of testing a broad range of materials; including concrete, soils, aggregates and blacktop.

Chris was also instrumental in the recent implementation of LEAN process management and the development of our industry-leading 5-day turnaround time for test results.

Russell Barnes, Regional Materials Testing Manager, commented, “CET represents commitment, expertise and teamwork. Chris is a prime example of all of these virtues and his appointment is well deserved.”

Russell continues “Recognition is one of CET’s core values. Not just recognising talent when we see it but acknowledging, and rewarding, a job well done. We have worked hard as an organization to develop a centre of excellence for materials testing in the UK and Chris has become an integral part of that”.

Congratulations Chris. Here’s to the next eight years!

CET is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
